Playoffs Set for 1928
27 Aug 2010 by Erick
I reviewed all the leagues and corrected a few missing a wildcard spot for an even number, and one that had two wildcards too many. They're all set to go. Good luck, everyone!

Offseason Optimizations
01 Aug 2010 by Erick
I sped up the critical off-season script which deducts salaries, builds stadium upgrades, and pays for advertisements. Instead of running for about 18 hours, it now runs for about a minute or two. This will reduce the drag on the site, and it also means everything's ready to go (with drafts loaded) for 1928 about a day earlier than usual. Good luck!

Financial Speed and New Offer Interface
27 Jun 2010 by Erick
I just pushed live an update to the finances that will cause a significant speed increase on any page where finances are used. Additionally, you can now opt on the offer screen to change to a text interface where you can type the amounts instead of picking from a drop-down. You can use "k" and "m" in this method to mean thousand and million.

IP/PA Recalculation
26 Jun 2010 by Erick
There were a set of games early this season which didn't get recorded for PA and IP. PA and IP calculations have been redone for the handful of players involved. If you were missing PA or IP on your training page, it should be back now. Any problems with this, let me know.

Proposals and Contacts
21 Jun 2010 by Erick
Approved all of the proposals that have passed and replied to the Contact Erick e-mails. One change that came from this is an easing of restrictions on teams you can choose to place in stadiums. This affected people who returned to the game after a while, and a couple similar circumstances.

Good Luck in 1926!
03 Jun 2010 by Erick
All of the leagues have been scheduled, and the season is open for 1926. Good luck to everyone! The market value script has already been run, so there should be no problems with the extensions this time.

29 May 2010 by Erick
Awards for 1925 have been released, bonuses have been paid, and salary caps have been updated for 1926. I'm working my way through the proposals that are out there and will have them all approved by the start of Spring Training.

League Finances for 1923
01 Mar 2010 by Erick
Apparently, the short month caught lots of CFO's off-guard. I've had numerous requests for people to do late league finance editing, so I opened it back up until tomorrow night at 7 PM eastern time.

Duplicate Contracts
26 Feb 2010 by Erick
We've had a growing number of duplicate contracts reported. I created and ran two new scripts to find duplicate contracts and duplicate payments and remove them. If you have any more problems with either of these issues, let me know through Contact Erick.

Ranked Relievers
12 Feb 2010 by Erick
You can now rank your relievers to override the default selection for relievers after the 5th inning. If you do not rank your relievers, the ones with the highest stats as determined by the automanager will be used. You can rank your relievers on your team's pitching page, just like you would choose closers and holders.

Proposals for Next Year
21 Jan 2010 by Erick
I now have the ability to easily change proposals from "Immediate" to "Next Year" and I will be using this to mark proposals like division changes that can't be made before the end of the season. This will help me focus on those that can be made, and hopefully help me to review them more regularly. If you see your proposal change to "Next Year", it means that it will be executed during the off-season before the next season schedules during Spring Training.
