Batting Hit - hitting - skill at putting the ball into play and not swinging at bad pitches Bsp - bat speed - gives more time to see pitches, resulting in less strikeouts and more walks - creates more extra base hits by increasing ball placement accuracy Pow - power - generates more home runs and line drives - fly balls go deeper into the outfield

Pitching Fin - finesse - skill at keeping the ball from play and confusing batters Psp - pitch speed - faster pitches yield more strikeouts and give batters less of a chance to react End - endurance - allows pitchers to throw more pitches per appearance
